Hi guys, I’m back! Remember for every Pat there is a “Trick”! Hahahaha! Labutaw nga Joseph. Anyways, I’m happy to say that the Faerie archetype still was able to Top this week’s Tourney. This time I was able to adjust my 2-1-0 match record and games 2-3 wins over Kithkins into a complete sweep.
Nevertheless, this still needs further testing. I just had one little element of surprise to back me up. It is very simple but an effective remedy versus creature hordes. It even worked against your typical Merfolk decks. Then again, they never saw the infestation coming.
Here’s the deck:

Round 1 vs JayR – UWB Merefolks – 2-0-0 = 3 Points
Round 2 vs Pete – UB Faeries – 2-0-0 = 6 Points
Round 3 vs Mao – WW Kithkin – 2-0-0 = 9 Points
Round 4 vs Tonton – 5 Color Control – 0-0-2 = 9 Points
Top 4 vs Mao – WW Kithkin – 2-0-0 = Finals
Finals vs Erik – WW Kithkin – Bye = 1st

I was happy because my modifications were a success with regards to the Kithkins, Merfolks, or maybe to the Elves matchup. But then they also have their corresponding consequences. Infests won’t do much good vs RDW and 5 Color Control. Again, I wasn’t able to cross paths with RDW. I’m not saying I wanted to cross one. Definitely RDWs are not a very favorable matchup for us Faeries. This is the very reason why there were slight modifications. I did stumble against my 5 Color Control matchup. I’m not making my two games manascrew a valid reason for my round loss but it did happened. Breaks of the game; Furthermore, I think I would have difficulty in beating the updated 5 Color techs with this tech even if the matchup favors me due to a lot of dead cards in my main deck and my SB isn’t that intact against the control matchup. I have -1 Thoughtseize, and -1 Jace. Anyway, I still look forward for more matchups with this deck.
I apologize for the lack of information. This is all I could share for the moment as I’m going to be busy this week. Anyway, I hope this helps and I look forward to seeing more techs from everyone.
See you at the Finals who ever you may be! Look into my eyes and you will fall!
Till next time. Signing off…
