Loam Lion - Kird Ape's white variant also a good one drop, which can be tollboxed using Ranger of Eos. Qasali Pridemage - anti- artifact and enchantment, can get rid of unwanted leylines and, make yout Wild Nacatl 3/3 when attacking at turn 2. Stoneforge Mystic - for toolboxing your Behemoth Sledge and Bassilisk Collar. Wooly Thoctar - it's a zoo deck, so this beast just fits in at mahal din ang Knight of the Reliquary. Qasali Ambusher - i found this card interesting due to the ff reason: 1. it can be played for free once you have a forest and a plain in play, not to mention it can be playes as if it had flash. 2. it can be used as a utility card. When Gloryscale Viashino blocks a Titan, you can flash in one or two to deal a death blow to the blocked creature and you get creature(s) in play. 3. since Dauntless Escort is expensive. This card minimizes the scare on a turn 4 DoJ. Keep these in hand when you think a DoJ is about to explode. So even if you get sweeped, you still got cats ready by the next turn. Gloryscale Viashino - refer to a previous budget naya deck posted in the Building on a Budget page. =D Ranger of Eos - i see this also as a utility card only to be used mid range or after a DoJ. Calls on the Nacatl and the Loam Lion. The Spells are quite self explanatory =D Condemn - Vengevine Hate Lightning Bolt - a 1cc burn spell for 3. Stagger Shock - Flame Javelin in installments =D Basilisk Collar - Lifelink Deathtouch, combos with Cunning Sparkmage. Sigil Blessing - Pump the critters for an alpha strike, and pumps the gloryscale too Behemoth Sledge - lifelink, trample sounds good to me. Land base im still working on. Sideboard: 3 Cunning Sparkmage - Naya's gunner shooting down any critter with his Collar on. 3 Manabarbs - control hate 2 Oblivion Ring - anti-walker 7 ?? |
