It’s always my dream to have byes during Grand Prix events like the pro does. Having 3 byes is a big advantage since you only have to win 3 games to make it into day two and have a chance for the money finish as well as get the opportunity to battle with the pros in round 4. That reminds me of my recent Grand Prix experience last March held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia wherein it was very exhausting to duel 8 straight rounds in Day 1. It was the best experience for me being able to make it to day 2 despite not getting the most coveted money finish (Top 64).

The Eldrazi was awakened and last Saturday we experienced a brand new and exciting limited game play of the pastime we love most, Magic the Gathering. Before the event, I was surprised that Wizards released the complete visual spoiler 2 days earlier while previous sets usually have it in public just after the Prerelease. Due to this, it gave us the opportunity to know all the cards prior to the Prerelease event.

“The best expedition would be an entire team of me.”

DISCLAIMER: I will not put in my experiences when I piloted this deck on a tourney coz it had an abysmal day (lacked too many cards at that time and was an off-day for me)
…Because sometimes you have to do it, other times, you feel the need to wait a turn or so…

Zzup babes! Hi I’m Rap and this is my first time writing an article here in Magic Iloilo which is I’m proud to be one of the players in the community. This is about my deck which is nicknamed BANT and this deck ended up at 4th place last tournament. What’s with the initials “BANT”? Well, it means Beat All Near Targets (actually a double-striking menace) and let me tell you how it works. Let’s start with:
