Hello Magic Universe! Patrick here, I’m very happy to finish 1st with a 4-0 record in the Shards of Alara booster draft event. This is my first time to come on top in four tries. I’m going to share with you how I evolved and analyzed my past mistakes to rectify limited event mishaps.

We had our first Shards of Alara draft for Saturday’s weekly tournament. It was fun and challenging as we get to draft and build a three color deck. Some even made it into four and five color decks. The winner, Patrick, drafted a fast green-white based Naya deck and earned him a 4-0 record.

For this week’s picks of pics, here are my choices:

Hi guys, I’m back! Remember for every Pat there is a “Trick”! Hahahaha! Labutaw nga Joseph. Anyways, I’m happy to say that the Faerie archetype still was able to Top this week’s Tourney. This time I was able to adjust my 2-1-0 match record and games 2-3 wins over Kithkins into a complete sweep.

Good Day to All Readers!

I’m Oliver Mastilero and I’m here to tackle our local standard MTG metagame as well as the foreign metagame that could influence the tournament scene. We all know that knowing the metagame gives us the edge in tournaments, the way we build our decks and what cards to be used as sideboards, so it’s very important to have an idea about them.

Last Saturday, I saw a lot of great plays including a match won by library burn (courtesy of Oona’s Grace) and stolens games via Mirrorweave (even Elves are using it). Here is our picks of pics from last Saturday’s Standard Constructed tournament at Country Square Resto.
