The Faes: My Golden Ticket to Nationals

Greetings everyone!

Hello Magic World! I’m Patrick Tirol; I would like to congratulate everyone who joined the Magic the Gathering Regional Tournament in Cebu for a stellar performance. Though not everybody was able to reach the top 4 national qualifier, our guys did a hell of a job out there! We Iloilo players have something to be proud of; I actually believe that our Ilonggo players have skills and talents that could compete with the international level; given the opportunity, time, and support, we can do wonders. Piloting Elves To The Nationals

Okay, so I took elves to regionals. But first, why elves? After the SCG 5k and 2k events, the general consensus was faeries were on the top of the food chain. So the logical thing to do would have been to run with the best deck in the format. If not, go anti-meta and beat the hell out of the best deck. So why exactly did I play elves?
